Chairman Jarek Porv

Jarek Porv was the youngest brother in the Porv family; a middle class family in Ral. He and his brother Zarek Porv both had ambitious dreams of holding power for themselves, and together they both idolized the dream of working hard for a greater purpose. Jarek got into politics and eventually became a governor of an eastern region and was then was elected to be a senator. Due to charisma, he was well liked by the people and the Ral Senate. He was a proud patriot and supported Ral strongly and wanted to make it great and respected. When The Ral War he sided with the Christians started despite him being an atheist due to his patriotism and also the fact he saw the invasion as extremely unjust. When the previous Chairman, Derek Guy, was killed in The Raid Of The North in northern Ral near The Salican Dynasty on the 9th of 1922 Jarek was elected into the position of chairman on the 14th only five days later. He had well respected plans on enduring the war and slowly taking the captured land back, since he knew he could get the help and supplies from The Aiden League.
Meanwhile, Zarek Porv became a military commander in the southern region of Iosc to fight in The Ral War. The two brothers became close once again after many years apart to coordinate in the war. The two got along well until Zarek started to become obsessed with The Tar Faction and its criminal cells, while Jarek was focused on The Ral War as a whole. This put a wedge between the two once close, hard-working, and patriotic brothers as Zarek got more reckless with trying to go after individual criminal cells, gangs, families, and leaders of The Tar Faction's government. For the government's and public's sake, the two brothers tried to bear each other and give the appearance that the chairman and his lower regional military brother were stillclose.
Jarek also had to deal with the Ral-Reasonarick Split in the 147th of 1926, where under the leadership of the leader and Chairman Uio and many other atheistic politicians a new eastern nation was created to be separate and independent of The Ral War, religion, and Ral as a whole. Jarek was furious but knew there was nothing he could do without more bloodshed and war on his hands, and thus he along with many of his supporters were peaceful and passive-aggressive toward the rebelling new nation. Jarek sat down and drew borders with Bokari and handled the Reasonarick situation quickly to get back to The Ral War. The Aiden League followed in his footsteps as they wanted to not get distracted and knew they couldn't get involved. Jarek faced backlash from many, including his brother for his decision of being peaceful and letting the rebels be independent, but he promised that they had a war to deal with first and afterward they were going to be better off. In response to The Reasonarick Church of Atheism's creation he also gave more power to The Orthodox Church in Ral to help and unite the people in its time of war. His decision was met with praise since prior to his decision there was no patriarch of Ral since James Suxu and Chairwoman Garrel's decision. Quarter Broox of Citar was selected to become the new patriarch in Ral by The Orthodox Church.
His priority was to slowly take back land in the south of Ral and in the northern part bordering The Salican Dynasty. He also made sure to give humanitarian aid all across Ral to strengthen them internally.
Eventually, Jarek, just like many other chairmen and women, ended up dying in office. It was an ordered assassination by Heaenden, where mercenary troops attacked Jarek and other politicians in the streets of Citar on the 296th Of 1939 where he died. The chairman after him would be Pholoman Carqu who had actually served with his brother, Zarek in the south against The Tar Faction.

Jarek reigned during the Mid-Ral War and was known for his handling of the internal chaos and disaster in Ral. He kept The Salican Dynasty back as much as he could in the north, but him and the military lost much land in the south.
