Kaldr Konun, often remembered as the First Frost Giant, looms large in the ancient annals of Saleth's history. Born as the sibling of Finn Chull and Halvdan The Black, his existence marked a pivotal moment in the realm's chronicles.
In the earliest days of Saleth, the continent was still in its formative stages. The giants, Finn and Halvdna were in the process of forming the land through a contest of strength. Awakening during the construction of Saleth Kaldr viewed the incomplete land with ambitious thoughts, seeing a perfect place for the cold to consume.
As the world around them evolved, so too did the ambitions of these primordial beings. Kaldr Konun's lust for control over Saleth swelled within him, and he believed that only he was worthy of ruling over this vast land. His brothers, Finn Chull and Halvdan, were not blind to his growing ambition, but at the time the giants believed in unity and harmony among their kin, rather than dominance and conquest.
Kaldr's insatiable hunger and jelosy drove him to wage war against his own kin. The battles that ensued was nothing short of cataclysmic. Titans clashed, and the very earth trembled beneath their colossal feet. The plains of Saleth were painted red with the blood of giants, and the skies echoed with the thunderous roars of these immense beings.
In the end, it was not Kaldr Konun's might that sealed his fate, but the unity of his brothers and the giants who followed them. Finn Chull and Halvdan, realizing the destructive path their brother was leading them down, united their forces against Kaldr. The ensuing battle was a fierce and brutal conflict, with titanic forces locked in an epic struggle.
Ultimately, the combined strength of Finn Chull and Halvdan proved to be greater than Kaldr's singular ambition. With great sacrifice and heavy hearts, they defeated their brother and cast him into the depths of The Sea of Mirrors. Unable to move the immortal giant sat in the deep of the sea, eventually his mind ceased to think.
While the first frost giant is trapped, his children continue his legacy of conquest. The frost giant's of maeon constantly assulting the dwarves of Umomar and elves of Kalach. There are even whisper's of a union of giant's working to form a union against Avalor.
