Anson Dalael
Great One Anson Dalael (a.k.a. Ansonte)
Anson Dalael is a Soreni, Shianti subrace wizard living in the Shianti Enclave of Durenor . He is the ultimate authority of this locale and politically answers only to lady Antoinette Lavigne, the Crown of Durenor .
Anson grew up as a member of House Dalael, one of the Soreni, Shianti subrace Noble Houses of the Shianti Empire. He took part in years of training as a warrior, and nobleman but always felts separate from his brothers. His father and mother encouraged his studies and were not shocked when the Great Ones came to collect him to their service.
Anson began his studies as an initiate of the Great Ones of Zhor in MS 5028. He excelled in his studies but eventually became enamored of the study of Wild Magic. Unlike most practitioners of wild magic, Anson believed that Wild Magic was only "wild" due to lack of study. Unfortunately, the study of Wild Magic was forbidden for the Great Ones .
Anson fled Zhor and abandoned his study among the Magi of the Black Robes in MS 5053. He served for years as an adventurer in order to fund his studies. During that time, he adventured and formed a close relationship with Hobie Greenhill . After a disastrous encounter with a group of undead, their team dissolved and Anson finally settled in ruins in the deserts of Vassagonia . He continued with his studies before being enlisted by theGreat Ones of Zhor to resolve the Wild Surge of Zhor.
Following that event, he was raised to the rank of Great One . He left Zhor, collected a cadre of grey warriors and their supporters, and established the Shianti Enclave of Durenor . He negotiated the details of this charter with the Queen Antoinette Lavigne of Durenor in MS 5073.
Since then, Anson has acted as a patron of many adventuring groups such as The Circle and The Chain Gang . He also acts as the current head of the Durenese magical academy located in Hammerdal itself.

Anson is in good physical shape for a man dedicated to research and study. He routinely exercises and carefully monitors what he eats and drinks. He still benefits from his arduous physical training to be a Shianti, or elf warrior and nobleman, before he was taken in by the Great Ones.

Apparel & Accessories
Anson most commonly dresses in quality shirts, pants, and boots. He often changes his style based on needs. Within the Shianti Enclave of Durenor, he dresses practically. However, when called to the Shianti Empire, he dresses in the traditional black robes of a Great One.
