Lencia
Lencia is a stable country with a number of sizeable mineral deposits and very lush vegetation. Unfortunately, the most valuable half of the country was taken by the Drakkarim and Lencia has never fully recovered from the loss. Numerous failed attempt to retake the lost northern part of the nation have left Lencia with a dwindling economy and a depleted military.
Lencia was formed from the influx of many Vaderish refugees, fleeing west. They established a prosperous nation, rich with the regulation of trade through the Tentarias. This came to an end when the Drakkarim seized the northern side of the strait in MS 3144.
Every few centuries, Lencian nobles wage war against the northern side of the sea against the Drakkarim nation of Nyras in an attempt to reunify their lands. So far, each of these excursions have lead to ruin.

Lencia's Location
Military
Lencia has a strong professional army and knighthood. However, most citizens of Lencia do not have combat training and leave fighting to the professionals.
Religion
There are organized churches to Kai across Lencia. While worship of Kai is not officially sanctioned by the nobility, all persons with any stake in the government make at least a show of worshippping Kai. The churches here sometimes lean on that influence in securing land grants and building funds.
Foreign Relations
Lencia has a very hostile relationship with Nyras to the north, ever since Nyras seized the northern territory from Lencia in MS2591. Since that time, many nobles have launched raids against Nyras but none of them have resulted in any permanent gains.
