Hanako 34: "Hidehito, Part II"
General Summary
Hanako offers information and comfort to Konomi in Narasaki in the wake of her family's instability. Heading to the frugal district, she visits the Golden Shrine, recieving an ill omen from a priest of the Way regarding unusually warm weather. After returning to Seito, Hanako discusses infernal matters with Fredrika, who warns Nazar had been near the city recently.
After being called to Teikyou with Isamu to see Hanzo, the cousins speculate that they might be in trouble. Instead, Hanzo warns of the investigation into the magic circle swap that lead Hanako to Regnum Solas being carried out by a servant of Suzume, but he refuses to implicate her. Hanako bargains for a dowry, and is offered 50,000 gp in the event of a ceremony and her and the emperor's gratitude. Afterward, Isamu and Hanako spy on Hitomi and Maeda to uncover family secrets.
Meeting with Hidehito at the summer palace, Hanako learns that Yagi Nishikawa escaped Hitehito's captivity thanks to intervention by Nazar, raising unusual questions. Hidehito strikes a deal with Hanako for her to secure the help of her family or the emperor in securing his seat in Narasaki in exchange for Hidehito helping Hanako's future lands in Hokutani prosper.
