Materia 19: "Paradisio"
General Summary
Transported to a giant tree in Tengoku, the party ascends through frog-filled passageways attempting to locate Sora. After being attacked by celestial creatures due to Mari's presence, the party stumbles on a personal residence of the Goddess Melora and within it, histories of the Age of the Gods.
Finding Sora imprisoned in Melora's backyard, the party works to free her and activate the Cardinal Urn, who takes the form of a young woman - Melora's mortal self, from before she became a goddess. After fighting to escape, the party catches up with Sora, who reveals that her conflict with Melora is partly the product of an ancient and unstable romance. She asserts that she convinced Melora that the Urn cannot be assembled without taking advantage of discord amongst the Nine Hells, and thus Marina Zinyra should be tolerated.
