Eldaria

The formerly split kingdom of High elves and wood elves that borders Breland and The Mror Holds. Nesteled in The World Tree Forest, this peaceful an uptopic society lives free of most of the problems of the rest of the world.   The elves of Eldaria have lived in The Hidden Peninsula since The Birth of the Second Children of the Overgod. Their territory, and their forest used to spread well beyond the Eldeen River into the Jurdan Plains where they eventually meet fierce opposition from the Goblins of Mak'rok. It was not until the beginning of the Second Age when humans would land in the Jurdan Plains and form the country of Breland did their territory diminish to the size it is today.   Before the Brelish came along, the High elves occupied most of the flat plains on the edge of the territory, and the wood elves kept to the deep interior of the forest. But with the reduction of their lands, the High elves and Wood elves had to more directly coexist, with the high elves gaining the advantage over time.In an uncharacteristically aggressive move, the wood elves established Lindorne as their own capital, and The Siblings and The Eternal Council as their seats of power, starting a civil war, Overgrowth. The high elves, though less in number, were more organized and stronger. The high elves began working with Arcane Crystals to enhance their powers. They formed a celestial connection with the crystals that garnered the attention of the Drow of the underworld. They Drow took the new power level of te high elves as a personal affront, as they saw themselves as the most powerful elven race. In retrebution, the Drow sunk the islands the High elves called home, down into the ocean causing a massive permanent whirlpool to form in the wake. Simlutenously, Drow agents made there way to the High elf crystals and shattered them, in what is know as The Shattering, and breaking the celestial connection and power of the High elves.   With their power broken and many of the kin lost, only a few hundred remaninig who were lucky and powerful enough to lift the islands out of the sea forming Sha-Eatain, the high elves sued for peace with the wood elves and have not grown bake to their former glory.
