Lucien Telvanni

Biography

In the times of the Septim Empire, House Telvanni ruled the province of Myrtana, but with the fall of the Empire, most members of House Telvanni were eradicated. Lucien's ancestors fled the Westfork to Geldrin, joining the Bands of Brothers across the Red Waste. During The Night's Watch's campaign against Thorek and the Kingdom of Angmar, Marcus Vardenfell meets the magically gifted Lucien, who backs his return to Myrtana.
Returning to Myrtana after a long exile of House Telvanni, Lucien finds the Kingdom of Myrtana in turmoil. He joins the local rebellions in Faring and The Gap, maintaining contact with Marcus Vardenfell. He leads the Myrtanian Rebellion successfully against the Zemerians, and reclaims a prominent position for House Telvanni. He becomes the ruler of Faring and Geldern in 1405.
In the coming years, the influence of House Telvanni would spread to Trelis and finally Fort Gideon during the Exalted March on Koron. Lucien now serves as Patron to house Telvanni, having birthed much offspring. He wishes to further extend his Legacy and as such has been rumored to surround himself with many magic practitioners, among which Artego, to find his ways to further lengthen his life.

Skills

Lucien is a talented battlemage, channeling his magical powers through a unique Claymore belonging to house Telvanni. Lucien is well respected by his subjects, as well as the younger rulers of Myrtana.

Personality

Having lived as an outcast, Lucien is welcoming to most if not all foreigners. Lucien is famed as a Hero of Myrtana, defeating the foreign invaders of Zemeria. He is regarded as pure, being uncorrupted by the influences of the Chantry of Fire.

Flaws

Lucien will go to great extremes to keep the Telvanni Legacy intact. He is also weary of the Chantry of Fire, as they banded together with House Lannister to exile their House beyond the Red Waste.

Diplomacy

Lucien is friends to Marcus Vardenfell and William Longblade from The Night's Watch. Furthermore, Lucien and his house backed Carolus Angelos's claim to the Myrtanian Throne, which he did not forget.
