Ranginian Empire

The Ranginian empire is located on the continent of Glaciena. The kingdom is also known as the silvery lands because of their main export, fool's silver. The empire underwent a revolution not many years ago in which the citizens leaded by the current emperor, Adriel Bellum, rose against the oppresive emperor, Vortigern Caelum.
Demography and Population
Birth rates tend to go up in the empire during summer. Due to the frigid temperatures of the empire, people prefer to plan their births for the summer for the children to remain healthy in their early days. Death rates tend to go up during during winters as well. The harsh weather combined with the food shortages favors the spread of diseases like the Grey Plague that struck the empire during the winter of the 427 in the Age of Rebirth.
The empires population is mainly of humans, who constitute a 60% of the total population. However, elven and draconic people have been on the rise in the latter years. This is due to the change of politics against foreigners set by the current ruler, Adriel Bellum. He and his wife, Lilith Bellum, insisted that the empire should be a place where everyone can feel welcome, regardless of their birth.
Military
The military force of the Ranginian empire is the Sølv Vildnis, also known by outsiders as the Silver Owls. The guard is constituted by four bodies that act in conjuction, but are commanded by different leaders.
Inside the empire, people regard the Silver Owls with outmost respect. They are admired by many who consider them to be the pinacle of military training.
Religion
Numen religions are banned in the empire because of their matron deity being Ilona. On the other hand, worship of other pantheons and religions is generally accepted, despite some regions having banned non-linarian worship. A decent amount of the Empire's population worship deities from the Sundari Pantheon.
Agriculture & Industry
Agriculture is quite hard in the Ranginian empire. Most of the empire's lands are cold climate places with lands that cannot support much crops. Greenhouses are built across the empire to hold crops for the populous. Nevertheless, most of the empire's food resources come from exports.
Because of these shortcomings, the Empire suffered greatly from the shortages during the Magna Bellis. With the elven kingdom of Nyesari denying them their crucial exports, famine quickly spread through the empire. The would have been forced into submission was it not for the neighbouring kingdom of Kiluna that lended a hand.
Trade & Transport
Aerial transport is quite hard through the empire due to the constant blizzards that strike it's lands. This is why land transport has advanced considerably on the empire, having impresive vehicles built for speed on land. Chariots and carriages are the most notable of these vehicles and have amassed themselves a reputation outside the empire. Empire carriages are said to be the fastest vehicles on land on the whole of Glasinia.
Education
Since the new emperor ascended to the throne, he has made it a priority for the people of the empire to have an education. Public schools have been opened and teachers have being assigned to orphanages so that no one is left uneducated. These improvements come from the emperor's good relationship with the queens of the neighbouring kingdom of Kiluna, where education is considered the most valuable resource.
