Kingdom of Avalon
The Kingdom of Avalon, also known as the "Everlasting Kingdom", or the "Eternal Kingdom" is an ancient realm with a storied past, stands as a testament to resilience and enduring pride. Avalon’s history dates back to times long before the rise of Astaroth, during which it ruled vast lands and often found itself in the throes of conquest and resurgence.
Avalon's origins are shrouded in the mists of time, with legends suggesting it was a kingdom of great power and influence even before recorded history. Its golden age saw it ruling over expansive territories with a rich culture and formidable military might.
Era of Turmoil: During the Age of the Five Emperors, Avalon along with other conquered peoples rebelled against the Parsian Empire during the Avalonian War, reclaiming its sovereignty.
Destruction by the Great Waaagh!: Avalon's resurgence was short-lived as the kingdom was devastated by the Great Waaagh!, a massive and destructive Orcish invasion.
Rebuilding and Reconquest: Despite the conquest destruction, the resilient Avalonians rebuilt their capital and reconquered much of their lost territory.
The Great War of Undeath: Avalon faced annihilation once more during the Great War of Undeath when Nebuchadnezzar- Vampire God’s undead legions ravaged the land. The kingdom was left in ruins, with its nobility and people nearly wiped out.
Reclaiming Homelands: In the aftermath, the indomitable spirit of the Avalonians saw them reclaiming their homelands and rebuilding their nation from the ground up. For centuries, they ruled their lands with renewed vigor and pride.
Divided Lands: Half of Avalon's lands are the control of The Republic of Gondar and the duchy of Trustany.
Poverty and Pride: The Avalonian people are the poorest within the Duchy of Jenice, yet their pride remains unbroken. Their rich history and enduring spirit continue to inspire them, even as they face the harsh realities of their present circumstances.
