Morthraxis
Morthraxis, also called the ritual of 100 was a grand sacrifice led by Asophiel- Lord of Hell to split from the forces of light.
Asophiel, once a high-ranking Archon and second-in-command to Archlord Kristya, succumbed to his darker desires and resentment, leading a rebellion against the light forces. With the support of loyal Archons and Celestial beings, Asophiel conducted the Morthraxis, a grand ritual sacrifice of 100 million lives from various races. This immense power fueled their ambitions, allowing Asophiel to create a dark realm named Infernia, characterized by eternal suffering and torment.
During the ritual, Asophiel and his followers underwent a transformation, embracing their demonic nature and becoming corrupted versions of themselves. Celestial beings who sided with Asophiel also succumbed to corruption, turning into Demons, while humans were transformed into a new race called Tieflings. This betrayal fractured the celestial authority, causing turmoil within the light forces.
The creation of Torment Infernia marked a turning point in the war, as Asophiel and his demonic forces became a formidable enemy. The realm became a source of nightmares and eternal agony, posing a significant threat to the once-unified light forces. The rebellion revealed that even the mighty Archons were susceptible to corruption and betrayal, leaving the celestial authority tarnished and the war-torn world facing a new and internal threat.
With the making of Infernia came the birth of the newest Celestial God Asophiel, who would unleash suffering and torment during The Celestial War.
