Maréchal
Maréchal (Gothique: Marshall) is the title given to the leader of Les Chevaliers d'Outremer . The first, only, and current Maréchal is Hugh - the title Marshall is given in the Black Templars to the overall commander of a Crusade, made up a number of castellanies, and Fulk's force was a single fighting company.
Les Chevaliers d'Outremer are still a castellany-sized force and would not be deployed as an autonomous Crusade by the Black Templars. But with their independence Hugh has adopted the title of Maréchal and has subordinate Châtelains and Sénéchals under him who exercise tactical and field command, while he sets strategic goals in consultation with La Reine Melisende.
