Thanedom of Isenfjord
Location
Isenfjord is the southernmost region of The North, bordered by the Kingdom of Numeria and the Kingdom of Myredonia. It boasts access to the sea, which enhances its trade capabilities and fishing industry. The region features two expansive forests, Jättimetsä and Hiisimetsä, which provide timber and other natural resources. Known for its fertile lands, Isenfjord is the agricultural heart of The North. Additionally, the region shares a border with the perilous Hrafnsvik mountains, home to hostile giants who pose a threat to all non-Northeners.Safe Region
Isenfjord is considered the safest region in The North. Unlike other areas, it does not border the treacherous Cursed Mountains, which are known for their dangerous terrain and monstrous inhabitants. This relative safety means Isenfjord is free from the most severe threats faced by other northern regions, such as magical hazards and extreme cold. Consequently, Isenfolk are viewed as the "weakest" among the Northeners, a perception held by those who endure harsher conditions. However, this safety allows Isenfjord to focus on agriculture and trade, contributing significantly to the region's prosperity and stability.Economy
Isenfjord's economy thrives on agriculture and fishing. The fertile lands produce a variety of crops that feed not only Isenfolk but also neighboring regions. The fishing industry is robust, thanks to the rich coastal waters. Well-maintained trade routes, including the biggest trade route Numeria's Way in The North connecting capital city and coastline and the rest of old Numeria's kingdoms and White Road which connects Isenfjord to more northen cities that receive materials from Storm Road.Culture
Isenfolk are recognized for their productivity and prosperity, with a strong sense of community and cooperation. They pride themselves on their agricultural achievements and robust fishing industry. Despite being viewed as "soft" by other Northeners, their focus on peaceful living and economic stability sets them apart.
