Court is held at Cirencester.

Special Court is called and held in Cirencester at the first of the year. (Jan) all nobles and dragons alike are summoned. Prince Madoc announces that war with the Saxons is going to happen in the summer campaign. "You will Levy you men. 50% is needed. it is said that the Saxons have a well-armed and trained army, that has been sitting around all winter. I can see on by the look on your faces that this expense is too great. But you King has been gracious enough to give you weapons and armor to help arm your men. You will be responsible for the training and the upkeep of these militia. The King wants all of you to help defend the crown." June 23, 489 you will muster your troops to move NORTH to fight the SAXONS.  You will be required to bring 40 days food for your men.

Lindsey Skirmishing

At dawn, it is discovered that the Cornish army is gone. Uther looks smug, and he marches his army north to Lindsey to threaten Octa and Eosa. He leads the army into Roestoc, and sends his knights and soldiers to hunt down any Saxons they find. But neither Uther nor Octa and Eosa want to have a pitched battle yet, so the fight is restrained to skirmishes.       Adventure: Falkrest Abbey 489  

Christmas Courts

Royal Court: 489

The king is in a good mood. The prince is saying, “We’re not afraid of the northern Saxon kings. They had to withdraw from the siege of Eburacum. We are going to fight Octa and Eosa next summer.”

Salisbury Court:

The Saxons must already have suffered many losses.
