Violight

"Work Smarter, Not Harder"

Violight is located on the west coast of Ransei, surrounded by mountains. With the nations of Greenleaf and Crysalia to the north and south, the borders of the region have much more diverse plants and natural life than the stormy mountainous region in between.
Unsurprisingly, Violight is home to many Electric-type Pokemon, which has fueled much of its economy. Many power plants have been built to utilize electricity and energy made from these Pokemon, however unlike Ignis, Violight is not as heavily involved with Pokemon trading in Ransei; its economy is much better at self-sustaining. Plus, with electricity being much more difficult to control than fire, there's not as much technology throughout Ransei that can handle its power.
With the need for metal to help build the necessary machines and buildings to collect electricity, Violight has a special trade deal with Valora, and this deal is considered to be important in terms of maintaining peace between Valla and Nohr. There's one specific company, Denki Kozai, which specializes in the production and transportation of electricity and metal between Valora and Violight.

Demographics

Much of the population of Violight consists of Electric-type Pokemon breeders and farmers, electricians and mechanics, factory workers engineers, and diplomats. While there are some independent workers, most either work directly for the Violighten government or for Denki Kozai.
