Penguin's Flock

Penguin's Flock, also known as Hawk's Flock, is a family of Kenku. Kenku do not use last names, so they typically refer to flocks by their leader. Officially speaking, the leader of the flock is Hawk. However, Hawk is currently enslaved to Penguin, so most Kenku simply refer to it as Penguin's flock. There is currently a power struggle where some members of the flock are trying to overthrow Penguin to restore Hawk as the leader.
The flock hails from Rainy Grove, but Hawk, who was leader at the time, was plotting to steal some sort of artifact from some followers of Bhaal. Penguin, horrified that this would result in the death of his entire species, took matters into his own hands and struck a deal with an imp named Izzik to stop his parent's plot. Unfortunately, this deal resulted in the entire flock being enslaved to Dispater and taken to live in Dis, the second circle of The nine hells.
Most members of the flock think of Penguin is a savior, who prevented a disaster that would possibly be even worse than when the Dukes of Air imposed The four curses on their people. Others however are still loyal to the original leadership and consider Penguin a traitor.
