Spire Mountains

Located down the center of the Southern Peninsula of The Veld , the Spire mountains are notable for defining much of the Veld's southern political relations. As the center of the peninsula is marked by these difficult to cross mountains, attacks by land are virtually unknown; transport by sea or river away from the mountains a far easier route. The mountains aren't as tall as the Dvargrfell , and there are some passes through them, but even in summer the going is slow, tended to only by traders and those folks who make the mountains their home. There are inhabitants of the mountains, both Veldfolk and Tulk . The Jade Tower of course is the most prominent location within the Mountains and a reason for many people to venture there.
