Ferguson Family Palace

Shan - Palazzo Ferguson
Shan - Palazzo Ferguson by Roberto Rau
The Ferguson mansion in Shan is an impressive residence that reflects the family's status and wealth. Built in light stone, the villa has a simple but elegant architectural style, which stands out for its refinement.   The exterior of the building is characterized by clean and symmetrical lines, with large windows adorned with wrought iron grates and balconies adorned with planters filled with colorful flowers. The courtyard in front is decorated with sculptures and fountains, which add a touch of grace and magnificence to the main entrance.   The large surrounding park is an oasis of tranquility and beauty, with centuries-old trees, flowerbeds of colorful flowers, populated with colorful animals and birds and winding paths that invite pleasant walks. The large fountain in the center of the garden is one of the property's focal points, with colorful fish swimming in its sparkling waters. The garden is the exclusive domain of Lady Rose Ferguson, wife of councilor Jonathan Ferguson (the head of the family)   The stone wall surrounding the villa not only gives a sense of security and protection, but also a touch of mystery and secrecy. It is said that behind those walls are hidden treasures and secrets jealously guarded by the Ferguson family.   Inside the palace, the finely decorated interiors create an atmosphere of luxury and opulence. The rooms are furnished with fine furniture, sumptuous carpets and precious works of art, testimony to the taste and pomp of the Fergusons.   The Fergusons are wealthy merchants, who own palaces and shops scattered throughout the Alfan Confederation. The goods they import from other states are at the origin of their fortune, also thanks to their very aggressive trade policies. In recent years the head of the family Jonathan Ferguson has been elected to the Federal Council of Alfan, the governing body of the Confederation.   Gossip about the Ferguson family is widespread among Shan residents. It is rumored that exclusive parties are held behind the closed doors of the palace, where merchants and aristocrats gather to plot and discuss business. The family has forged alliances with powerful allies, and the Fergusons are poised to use their influence to pursue their own business and political interests.   It is also said that in the basement of the villa there are secret rooms where the family's enemies disappear, but no one has ever managed to discover if they really exist.
