Port Auberdine controls almost all of the fishing throughout the Congregation, as their large navy has contested much of the Bay of Lords from rival fishermen.
Technological Level
The Auberdines have made it a point to completely contest the waters of the Congregation, claiming it a matter of "national security" for the benefit of the greater Congregation. While other families have remained skeptical of this point, they have been unable to construct the sizable navy that the Auberdines have. Fishing vessels are armed with modern cannons, and warships are regularly built to remind neighboring countries and ambitious pirates the power of the Congregation - but more importantly, the naval superiority of the Auberdine family.
