The Heyburns of Seaside have made it a point to specialize in the original ideal of the Congregation: a world where conflicts can be resolved without corrupting magical influence. To this purpose they have hoarded the most metal workers of the Congregation, and put them to task to fashion the weapons of a new age. To join their military force is no simple matter, either, as they do not keep any form of lowly paid levy to protect their interests. Instead, an aspirant to these ranks requires an offering of a single bar of iron, which is then fashioned into a firearm personalized to the fitting of the aspirant by the meticulous measurements of the Heyburn artisans. Through iron and steel do the Heyburns seek to cut mankind off from the dangerous influence of magic.
