Dwarves
Obsessive, greedy, and glory-hungry, the dwarves' impulsive qualities resemble a great many of human qualities, and it is for this reason that they are counted as a model minority amongst the many majorities of the humanoid. They control a great many commercial and financial prospects around the globe, including banks. Their homeland is shared symbiotically with the Dark Elves in order to ensure that their greedy mining tactics never cease to be. Race mixing between the two races is not unheard of due to their symbiotic relationship and long lives. A dwarf without numerous amounts of wear and coin is a failing dwarf amongst the dwarven kind, which is a great many dwarves.

History
Long ago, before the The Great Holy War, the dwarvish gods forsook the gods who dared to interfere with the vast inventions they concocted in their forges and workshops. This rebellion came to a point that the dwarvish god refused to talk in Empyrean and spoke in the language of the Giants. They carved vast runes of magic on all of their magic devices and told their creations, the dwarves, to follow the same. However, during the Great Holy War, they were all slain by the last remaining god of rage and warfare, as well as rumored to be the last dwarvish god, not for their insolence but for their own species mercy.
During the Great Holy War, after the death of their king, Harald Alvísson, and the dwarven gods the dwarves had begun the Dread March. This marked their departure from Varangia. for which had left the Human residents of Varangia to be annihilated by surrounding territories. They would eventually arrive in the outskirts of what would become Drukalsteim. The new Dwarvish Kings that made their home in the area that surrounds Elofscuro drilled deeper and deeper into their vast caverns and undercities. Many went mad with the revelations they saw deep within the antediluvian caves they unearthed. And if it were not for the interference of Saint Mary and her plea, the entire dwarvish race would have gone insane with their own obsession to revive their ancestors and gods.
The Great Mother's pleas, however, did not come without its consequences. Many dwarves continued their avarice and conservative habits, and the dwarves were even encouraged by the newly established Universale Church to continue their banking and mining activities. These activities extend to even allowing certain desperate and entitled individuals to seek out horrific loans that if not paid out will cost the individual their freedom and the person will be sold into slavery.
