Orcs
This artificially-made warrior race of people that used to be warrior-slaves within the Latonan Empire. All orcs, from their first creation process in -995 E.D., are an amalgamation of three races in order to create the "perfect warrior." The High Elves with their long lifespans and keen observational skills, the Servitor Races with their rate of beneficial mutation and high rate of insemination, and the Risi with their psychic connection to ancestral lines and rapid rate of muscular growth all culminate in a race capable of massive destruction and warfare over short periods of time. The Empire purposefully tortured and psychologically scarred the progenitors of the orcs in order to psychologically, and psychically, incentivize orcs to never disobey their masters. This process was overseen and progressed through an organization of newly founded wizards known as the Orc Generation Lodge (OGL). This processed had ensured that the Empire, breaking into several pieces at this point, would keep ahold of itself for several centuries during the Great Holy War.
However with the advent of the The Hellwalker, and a large number of OGL members resentment for the evil they had forced on the whole of Tenebra, the orcs had been freed from their enslavement and all had vowed vengeance for their ancestors. It was seeing the light of their Chainbreaker, The Hellwalker, and his liturgical sword Paez'zo, created by the rebel OGL members, that the orcs turned their psychological torment into a mountainous font of rage. This incited large rebellion of the orcs and slaves of the Latonan Empire had brought fear into the hearts of the heretics and demons that emerged from what makes up the Devil Lands, or Abaddon. This then caused the complete shattering of the Empire as a whole as the Orcs became enlightened by their savior.
Currently, all of the orcs are employed in the Order of the Slayers, for which any descension is treated as weakness of spirit, mind and body. Their homeland, Varangia, doubles as a capital and a training ground for the Slayers.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Mutative skin, large muscle mass, and the unrelenting will to destroy their enemies
Genetics and Reproduction
Due to their creation by alchemists from the Latonan Empire, all orcs are an amalgamation of three races in order to create the "perfect warrior." The High Elves with their long lifespans and keen observational skills, the Servitor Races with their rate of beneficial mutation and high rate of insemination, and the Risi with their psychic connection to ancestral lines and rapid rate of muscular growth all culminate in a race capable of massive destruction and warfare over short periods of time. They tend to reproduce and gestate the same rate as Goblins, which in turn gives them a high rate of fertility.
Growth Rate & Stages
They age at the same rate as elves but the orcs tend to die at younger ages on the battlefield, around 30 or younger. Those that live long enough to become an Elder but not accepted into the Council of Slaughter go into exile to Hesperis in order to do battle with the great beasts that dwell there.
Biological Cycle
Over years and progress on the battlefield, an orc will mutate and change skin tones into greener skin tones, called the Greening. These tones of skin indicate how powerful and fierce an orc is. The Hellwalker is exceptionally dark green.
