Dark Elves
The dark elves' history coincides with a refusal to ascend and a desire to aid their saviors, but they remember none of these motivations and have evolved into a race filled with religious fervor. They would be the first race in all of Tenebra to worship the Empyrean Gods and founded what would be the progenitor of the Universale Church in what is now known as the Holy Republic of Drukalsteim . The dark elves, unlike many other races, did not have a dedicated pantheon to themselves as a species due to their own gods having fled to Ildathach to join Ellyllon Monarchs. This had caused them to form a church dedicated to gods who cared not for race nor origin.
Their fervor onto Empyrea carried onward even after the advent of the Great Holy War. This would lead into the reasoning of why the dark elves allowed the Dwarves into the dark elves' homeland. The convergence of the two species in Drukalsteim has made both strengthened over time in economic and religious might worldwide. The Universale Church stands as a pinnacle of the zealous might of every single dark elf that wanders the world of Tenebra.
This zealous might would be carried on to the future as the The Second Great Holy War ended with the Church reformed itself to praise the Pantheon of the Black Star. The dark elves continue to be a pious race of people praising their new gods.
