Binfolk are a unique subculture of humans in Terra Caelum who reject "normal" society, and instead live on the streets, or in unconventional locations. They have names that include the word Bin,

The funeral tradition for a Binfolk is to lay their body to rest in the bin which they came from.

Notable Binfolk

Binchild Goldcoin

Binchild was born in a bin. More specifically, he was born in 7989 in the back streets of the Free Peach City. He built his life from the ground up with his best friend Binjoe at his side. In 8005, in his mid-teens, he made a deal with a demon to fund his restaurant, the Demon Dish, but from there, it was Binjoe's skill and brains that brought the establishment critical acclaim.
In 8006, the City Watch shut down the restaurant due to health code violations. Binjoe was arrested, taken away from Binchild and locked away in the dungeons of Keep Greaves. To cope, Binchild developed a mild addiction to Sundrop. After a few failed attempts at breaking Binjoe out of his prison, he did a few jobs for the Zhentarim before moving to Frost Bay for a more permanent job.
He died in the Eye of the All-Father, crushed into a pulp by a giant boulder trap. His soul has returned to the demon who he struck a deal with, but if the adventurers he travelled with wish to bring him back, they may be able to travel to Avernus to work something out with the fiends there.

Bincouch

Bincouch is a friendly Binfolk halfling living in the city of Okhathage. He sneaks around the rich Moonstone District, bringing a torn up couch with him. When he finds a bin with suitable food waste that he can dine upon, he sets up his couch and stays the night there. Usually, the residents of Moonstone District invite him in to allow him to wash and eat properly. Sometimes, they even offer him full lodgings, which confuses him.

Binfridge

Mortimer "Morty" Binfridge is a halfling Zhentarim thief based in Ballay. He took the name Binfridge as he used to cuddle up in a fridge he found in the desert to avoid overheating. He still has that fridge, and still sleeps in it. He has a prosthetic metal arm as his old one broke due to frostbite.

Binmother

Binmother is an elderly yet spry human woman living in Binroad District. She is the cynical crime boss in the district, and works directly with Droop to keep a grip on the district and keep it from being gentrified. She cares very much for the Binfolk.

Pizzabox R.C. Binson-Netflix

Pizzabox is a strange case. One day, he just disappeared. Who knows why. All that was left behind of him were spiders, and the smell of pizza. PB was always a lad with a lot of knowledge, almost like he could perceive into different realms. He chose his own name off of things he had seen in visions, however Binmother thought he was just a bit bonkers.
