The lodge has seen a surprisingly low amount of changes to it's structure, with most updates focused on truthful repairs to the structure. The lodge has seen only one major renovation and three expansions, two of which expanded living quarters, and the third expanding the basement.

The lodge's architecture is a blend of rustic and medieval sub-tropical forest styles, featuring sturdy timber construction, an expansive stone fireplace, and thatched roofs.
