Elves: Wood/Copper

The recluse elves, sometimes even referred to as the Wild Elves, can be attributed to the reason why most non-elves have the opinion that elves live only in forests or on trees. They are the most common type of Elf, outside the Elven Lands, as there are many forests on other continents. The Wood Elves tend to shy away from civilizations, even their own, liking only to be near their families and clans. Some Wood Elves can found cities but it a rarity. While the High Elves tend to become egoistic, Moon elves wander into danger, the Copper Elves are considered the most dangerous to non-elves as they fiercely guard their forests and lands. Many purges that were made in history, the Wood Elves would be the victims and sometimes the killers. Wood elves are easily identifiable by their coppery skin and green, brown, or hazel eyes. Wood elven hair is usually black or brown, although hues such as blond or copper red are also found.

On Tethys

They rarely tend to leave their forests and communities, only if there is a higher calling or a need has risen up. Their tight-knit tribes make it harder to form grander communities like nations. There are exceptions like the Lutenyaar or Elleinaru but this is due to the number of Wood Elves in the world is much higher than any other elf - sooner or later they would form nations. Even then, those nations aren't wood elf only. Those Wood Elves that become adventurers always have a goal in their mind that isn't greed or power, seeking maybe to save their people or find a better place for them.

First World

There were many Wood Elves in the First World Theory but they weren't as numerous as the other Elves unlike on Tethys.

Age. Although elves reach physical maturity at about the same age as humans, the elven understanding of adulthood goes beyond physical growth to encompass worldly experience. An elf typically claims adulthood and an adult name around the age of 100 and can live to be 750 years old.   Alignment. Elves love freedom, variety, and self-expression, so they lean strongly toward the gentler aspects of chaos. They value and protect others' freedom as well as their own, and they are more often good than not.   Size. Elves range from under 5 to over 6 feet tall and have slender builds. Your size is Medium.   Darkvision. Accustomed to twilit forests and the night sky, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.   Keen Senses. You have proficiency in the Perception skill.   Fey Ancestry. You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can't put you to sleep.   Trance. Elves don't need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. (The Common word for such meditation is "trance.") While meditating, you can dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.
If you meditate during a long rest, you finish the rest after only 4 hours. You otherwise obey all the rules for a long rest; only the duration is changed.   Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Elvish. Elvish is fluid, with subtle intonations and intricate grammar. Elven literature is rich and varied, and their songs and poems are famous among other races. Many bards learn their language so they can add Elvish ballads to their repertoires.   Elf Weapon Training. You have proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow.   Fleet of Foot. Your base walking speed increases to 35 feet.   Mask of the Wild. You can attempt to hide even when you are only lightly obscured by foliage, heavy rain, falling snow, mist, and other natural phenomena.
