The First Divergence

Era beginning/end

After Atlas' Imprisonment

The Titan Chronos appeared, everybody - God and Titan alike, didn't remember his disappearance in the first place and they would forget it again. His kin was either slaughtered or imprisoned, in anger he used his powers to create the Divergence. Where all would forget about the First World and that the The First Gods were the heroes. This would shape the world in a new timeline. This event in itself would be forgotten until Chronos' return in the Fifth Age, Current Age.

After the Titan Atlas was imprisoned, the Titan Chronos appeared. Suddenly, every powerful creature remembered his existence. He disappeared at the start of the Titan War and took with him the memory of him, nobody, not even the other Titans, remembered him. At this pivotal moment, when the Titans were either killed or imprisoned and The First Gods were reeling over the sudden realization, he used his powers to transform time himself. Once again the Titan disappeared, the memory of him too. What has changed? Historians and creatures from that time, like the Gods, are conflicted about what really happened or if the First Divergence was really happening. If you adhere to the First World Theory, then the Titan took the story of the First World and changed it. From now on, the timeline assumed that the Gods created Tethys and started the war with the Titans for domination, nothing else. There was no first world, no saving of old friends and allies, nothing. Only that the First Gods appeared, created Tethys, Titans then grew out of the world and created the many races and monsters, and the Gods decided that only one side will prevail. Up until The Second Divergence nobody knew that there was a First and when the Second happened, confusion brought ruin to many.
