Army Hierarchy: General: Overall commander of the army
Brigadier General: Commander of a brigade
Major: Commander of a battalion
Captain: Commander of a company
Roles and Responsibilities: General: Sets overall strategy and objectives for the army. Makes decisions on resource allocation and prioritization. Represents the army to other organizations and governments.
Brigadier General: Executes the strategy at the brigade level. Coordinates multiple regiments to achieve objectives. Provides guidance and support to regiment commanders.
Major: Executes the strategy at the battalion level. Coordinates multiple companies to achieve objectives. Provides guidance and support to company commanders.
Captain: Commands a company. Responsible for training, discipline, and morale of soldiers under their command. Executes orders from higher-ranking officers.
First Lieutenant: Assists the company commander with planning and operations. Assumes command in the absence of the company commander.
Second Lieutenant: Commands a platoon. Responsible for training, discipline, and morale of soldiers under their command. Executes orders from higher-ranking officers.
Sergeant: Leads a squad. Responsible for training, discipline, and morale of soldiers under their command. Executes orders from higher-ranking officers.
Corporal: Second-in-command of a squad. Assists the sergeant with training and discipline. Assumes command in the absence of the sergeant.
Private: Member of a squad. Follows orders from higher-ranking officers.
