Sycorax A (S-IH-C-OR-AKS)
Localized Phenomena
Sycorax A has always been a stable and reliable star, but within the past 30 years, Coronal Mass Ejections have intermittently troubled the system; disrupting shields and communications at some of the most inopportune times.
Natural Resources
Helium-3 is a vital resource in the Sycorax System. Solar stations orbit the star and collect this valuable isotope for nuclear fusion and energy production.
These solar stations employ "Star-Divers" who use modified orbital elevators (aka Skyhooks) to probe the star to ascertain the health and stability of the star. Without these Star-Divers, there would be no Equilibrium Project.
