This walled open city of 6,000 peaceful Ffolk of several races to the south of Aethermyst on the northern arm of the Meander River is the home of many human caravan masters, adventurers, and tradesmen. As in Freehaven, the folk here are tolerant of other peoples, races, and religions, but must be constantly wary of the monsters who lurk in the wilds. Founded shortly after the arrival of the Netheran Council, which founded Nethlore a few years later after taking part in a battle to save the north from the invasion by a massive orc and goblin raiding hordes, the local people continue to follow many of the traditions of the Netherans even though less than a quarter of its population remain Netheran. The council is negotiating with Aethermyst and the Lords Alliance to fund the construction and maintenance of a true road along the Evermoor Way between them and Titanbridge. Though relatively unassuming the town dominates much of the coming and going trade between Aethermyst and Adamant Hall as they pass through to and from the west by virtue of its position as the only crossing of the Meander River caravans can take when they use the Aethermyst Pass. With orcnean raids subsiding and an already established peaceful agreement with the barbarian tribes at Standing Stone, One Stone, The Grandfather Tree, Unicorn’s Well, things have begun to pick up giving greater opportunities for the local mercenaries and adventurers to find work as guides and guards through the sometimes rough and violent trade trail region south of the Nethermoors and north of Feneri Forest.
