Townmaster's Hall
The townmaster's hall has sturdy stone walls, a pitched wooden roof, and a bell tower at the back. The job board next to the front door features a sparse number of notices, all written in common and in the same hand.Phandalin has no functioning government, but the townsfolk elect a townmaster every year. The townmaster serves as a judge for minor disputes and keeps any records that need to be kept, althogh the latter task has recently been delegated to Halia Thornton at the Phandalin Miner's Exchange. The current townmaster is a fat, pompous old human man named Harbin Wester, although since reports began circulating about a White Dragon in the area (Cryovain), harbin refuses to leave his house.
