Maetes Acosaphaura (MAY-tesz Ah-KO-sah-FOW-rah)
(a.k.a. kaelikh fasa -- "wind's wife")
Maetes was the much-loved baby sister of Eraleon and Gehrqo Acosaphaura; her parents were Carabal and Nera of the Etir of Kiva. She was named for Maetes, one of the three major stars in the Icalaran sky.
After a long romantic dalliance with and brief engagement to Xenadal Keth in 969AC, Maetes disappeared in the Season of Ripening of 970AC under suspicious circumstances. Outsiders noted the unusual intensity of the relationship that changed the character of both.

Religious Views
While initially not a devout Creedist, throughout her life Maetes reputedly had unexplained visions -- some of which were prophetic. These increased in frequency and intensity after her twentieth birthday and, in seeking answers or some way to make use of her gift, she was apprenticed to the Etir's Listener. However, it soon became obvious that either Maetes was communicating with entities other than the tribe's aecasha or wasn't of sound mind, and she was never sanctioned by the Avatar.
Hobbies & Pets
She was a talented artist, and taught her nephew Nelos.
