Loran

The people of Loran live where a cliff meets the sea. Many of the people there live in the caves cut into the cliff, while the artisans live in larger houses around the central temple.

Demographics

In contrast to the rest of The Coil, there is a low amount of Humans, Elves, and Dwarves when compared to other races.

Government

Loran functions as a commune, with weekly meetings at the temple to make decisions for the city and island

Infrastructure

The compound of Loran was built around the main temple (devoted to Karyb as they value art and creativity as important values), large wooden fences and gates sharing the city boarder with the cliff and sea. The artisans, viewed as the most important members of society live closer to the temple, while most of the others live inside the cliffs.

History

A group of people that wished to remove themselves from the materialistic society at large made the decision to live together and have thrived as unique artisans ever since.
