Plainér Temple of Kiral
The building is wooden in construction, with small glass windows and a small tower that makes it stand out amongst the buildings of the town. As you approach a little closer, it becomes more clear that the temple is incredibly old, as the wood sags a little in the sunlight and is overgrown with moss and rot. The bottom third or so of the structure is made of stone, and there are a pair of large wooden doors out front inscribed with a prayer.
Inside, you're immediately struck by the four large sculptures along the two sides of the temple, towering over the congregation. They depict the Four, naturally, and they are remarkably well sculpted. The ritual fire pit is in the centre of the building, with the congregation sitting around it and under the shadows of the four towering statues.
Architecture
The architecture of the temple is typical for the region, with the stone statues being the only difference of note between it and the dozen or so such buildings of its size in the region.
History
This current temple was built some two hundred years ago, during the Red Rose War. It replaced a small wooden temple on the same site, and it has been in continuous use ever since. The statues were made around the same time, except for the statue of Etheric, which had to be replaced a few years ago when a pair of local boys accidentally broke the Golden Wind's nose.
Geort Adanar of the Drakeslayers has prayed at this temple, although he was less than impressed by the local priestess.
