Plainér Town Square

A rough cobblestone gives way to a smoothed stone surface as you arrive in the main plaza of Plainér Town. Shops encircle the square, all rough stone and local wood and selling vegetables, fresh bread, and crafts. One tall building rises in the northwest, which is the local inn. On the far side of the plaza, you can see another large building, although this one is more stout and solid-looking (the guardhouse).

Purpose / Function

This is where the local trading and purchasing of various goods occurs. Things for sale here include: food, drink, magic components and books, clothing, and the inn sells rooms for the night. People looking for equipment related to dungeoneering and mining are expected to go to the Plainér Miner's Village.

History

When Plainér Town finally became a large enough town that the small plaza in the Miner's Village was no longer sufficient, the construction of this plaza began. It has been used for the main marketplace of the town ever since.
