King Uther
King Uther Pendragon is King of Logres and thus your king. He is an ambitious and successful warlord who wishes to become High King of all Britain. He helped his brother, the late King Aurelius Ambrosius, oust the tyrant Vortigern from Britain, but he is now beset by Saxons and uncooperative Barons.
In 491 he made war on Cornwall, driven by his lust for Lady Ygraine. Duke Gorlois was killed in the war, and Uther and Ygraine were wed later that year.
The next year, Ygraine was delivered of a baby boy, but the boy was stolen. After this, Uther fell ill and disappeared from public life. When he emerged to fight the Saxons in 495, he was visibly transformed and unwell.
After victory against the Saxons in the battle of St. Albans, he was poisoned at the Infamous Feast and died.
