Knowledge Domain
The Knowledge Domain is an Archetype of the Cleric Class available to players during Character Creation. It is the fifth most common type of Cleric in The Old World, encompassing keepers of hidden lore and sacred craftsmen alike. Knowledge Clerics are excellent utility characters, possessing divine insight which allows them to see into the minds of others and perform almost any task with aplomb (see https://www.dndwiki.io/subclasses/knowledge-domain).
Knowledge is a broad domain with adherents ranging from wizened sages charged with keeping the secrets of the gods to artisans who forge magical treasures of otherworldly power. Combat is not a Knowledge Cleric's forte but, if necessary, they may call upon their mastery of arcane techniques to cast a wide array of potent spells. Those who take up Adventuring generally do so searching for secret wisdom on their deity's behalf and are astute scholars and investigators.
Knowledge is the primary domain of Moradin, chief god of the Dwarven pantheon, and a secondary domain of Garl, the patron deity of Gnomes. It is also embraced by the sky gods, Phaulkon and Velnius, who are worshipped in Thule and Dunlagh, respectively. More ominously, the archdevil, Asmodeus, claims Knowledge as one of his domains, bartering precious secrets in exchange for sacrifice and servitude.
