Plants

Plants are a class of organism which grow from seeds and survive by absorbing Sunlight rather than by consuming food. Most types of Plant are found in both The Old World and The New World, but some are unique to one or the other. Only sessile organisms, meaning those which are unable to move on their own, may be classified as Plants. Those which have the characteristics of Plants, but are mobile or otherwise dangerous, are considered to be Monsters instead.

Many Plants are useful Resources for Crafting and may be harvested by players while Adventuring in The Wilds. Players who encounter previously unknown Plants should generally document the discovery in their Adventure Report, though they are not required to do so except in the case of Resource Nodes, such as a large grove of Plants of the same species.
