Arkaneus of the Moon is an ancient and powerful druid, with a long and storied history of defending and preserving the natural world. He is the leader of the Circle of the Moon, a group of powerful druids who are dedicated to protecting the balance of nature and preserving the Sacred Forest of Ilsanor .
Arkaneus is a wizened and wise old man, with a face that is deeply wrinkled and weathered from his many years spent out living in nature. His piercing green eyes seem to see into the very heart of the natural world, and his calm, measured voice carries the weight of the ages. Despite his advanced age, he is still a formidable figure, with a tall and slender build that radiates strength and agility.
As a druid of the Circle of the Moon, Arkaneus is a master of nature magic, able to call upon the power of the earth. He is also a skilled shapeshifter, able to take on the forms of various animals in order to better protect and defend the wild places of the world.
Arkaneus' student Aredhel of the Moon is set to take over as leader of the Circle of the Moon as soon as Arkaneus can manage to keep her focused on this task. Arkaneus is friend to many powerful creatures, but most notably his companion Sephira the Sapphire dragon.
