the Stone Mother's House
The Stone Mother is one of the more popular gods amongst dwarves, including the Hewellen. She a the god of earth, stillness, and death—but not death in a bad way, just the stillness at the end of things. Her temple is always called the Stone Mother's House. The popularity and influence of the Stone Mother's House in Malfa is a sign of the Hewellen’s influence there, although not all the dwarves who serve at the House are Hewellen. At this point, various inland people sometimes come to Malfa expressly for the Stone Mother’s temple, which is the largest in the region (though still quite small by human standards).
