27/06/24 - Brave New World

Full sail ahead!
Ahoy mateys.   Welcome to the first telegram from the stormy seas of Toreworld Development.   It's been a slow and steady go, but I've built the site, messed around with some fiddly css and fonts to procrastinate, and have made some pictures on Microsoft Designer.   I'm slowly transferring all the information I have about my world from computer documents, and building all the pages so that I can fill in everything that I have (even if it's sparse).   Once I've done that, I plan to really flesh out the articles I've already made, and finish the historical timeline, so that everything on the main page at least has something in it.   The map I made with Azgaar's Fantasy Map generator is a little bit out of date (and generated city names like 'Pink' and 'Bryan') so there are several changes I will need to make when I draw my own map in the future, but it holds up ok as a base for now. I wanted to have a good conceptualisation of how the Toreworld looked in the 'ringed' shape as well, so I experimented with Blender until I made a wonky rendition of it that you can see below:     (The white is supposed to be ice, don't judge!)   I'm also getting the hangs of the World Anvil system. I'm not an artist, or a coder, but I'm trying my best. There are many links and categories that are dead ends or blank, and it'll take a minute to fix them. Still, I'd like to publish the world - even what little I've got of it as of now, as I think it will hopefully motivate and encourage me to get it more fleshed ou; especially with Summer Camp on the horizon.   I'll leave you here, to go and press that big red 'Publish' button! Exciting!   Happy sailing,   ~Pfeffermin
