Drachental
Mostly self sufficient, citizens of the frozen northern island known as Drachental, from the Zouerlandish phrase meaning 'place of dragons', hibernate for long periods of the year through a sacred traditional ceremony kept completely hidden from outsiders. From the little that is known of them, largely through accounts from merchants from other nations who have participated in their once-a-season trade, they seem like a remarkably jovial and warm culture despite their long periods of extended isolation. Erroneously thought to be the birthplace of Dragons, Drachental is rarely visited, but has long captured the imagination.
