Waldinhafin

Fortification where river boats are repaired and river patrols are launched from   Controlled by minor Clan that are functionally independent from Byrnholders & Amalriokers   The archived reports stashed in Waldinhafin are the last place to find the location of the Diadem of Ingilbirt. It is a report of a patrol that got lost in a rainstorm and traveled up land to escape flooding. Most of the report was destroyed in a fire some reasons back (the signs of which are still seen in the underfunded outpost).   Most of the wood that Waldinhafin uses to repair its ships is from Flysslagir so the guards have a vested interest in keep the town running and that includes allowing some level of corruption to keep the wheels greased.   The garrison at the Waldinhafin don't really care for the The Robed Naex who comes down every so often from his hermitage at the Fork Shrine to scream in the courtyard what seems like nonsense. He's insistant and doesn't stay too long but it's really annoying.   Both the Waldinhafin and the Tyrmdrihin recruit from Grynizilt and spend their off hours paling around in the town and getting into trouble. This has divided the town to the point where families are aligning with each.   The Throat-Slit Outlaws store a lot of the goods destined for Grynizilt and Waldinhafin at Smuggler's Shelter.   The soldiers of the Waldinhafin also sneak off to nail a copper piece to the trunk of The Tree at the Bend but they do so when they want a wish to come true.   There are a lot of local pilgrims at the Waldinhafin on their way to visit the Fork Shrine since it's a great place to spot if you're coming up from the south.   Prensuchdt will often send broken rafts and boats down river since the repairmen of Waldinhafin are much better than they. The repairmen will often buy broken boats, repair them, and then resell them.   Has a Timeline in Wisthulz Timelines Overview that will need to be fleshed out once the settlement is done
