Aldis Super Fortress
A very large space station in the Aldis System. Owned by the Xalarin Council.
It occupies a very high orbit around the star. It is intended to protect the entire system from enemy invasion, so it has a large number of particle cannons and missiles that can strike an enemy from many AUs away. The fortress is about 40 km in length, and armed with similarly massive weapons and missiles. It continually scans the entire system with multiple types of radar, as well as Cloaking Device inhibitors and Subspatial Starship detectors.
The super fortress also doubles as a very large shipyard. It can store an entire carrier and its escort force, and has enough drydocks for both. Materials are shipped to the fortress via shuttle starships, as well as larger cargo liners.
