Xanlanana
A planet in the Aldis System.
Xanlanana orbited its parent star at a large radius. Due to this, it was cold and the 10th planet in the system. Xanlanana featured a large amount of ice and became known as the 'white planet'. The Xalarin Council has exploited the world for other resources. They have found little of use, other than the core of the world itself. As the world is deemed virtually useless apart from the large amount of material in the core, it is being mined from the core.
This has somewhat caused the planet to heat up, causing some of the ice to melt and causing some degree of ground collapse. This has become a deadly hazard that has destroyed some mining stations, so the mining functionality was preserved by reinforcing the tunnel walls with stronger metallic materials. This has somewhat improved safety, but the XC continuse to core mine the world due to the very high density of valuable metals.
Even some rarer metals such as gold and iridium have been extracted from the core, as well as radioactive metals. Due to this, Xanlanana ended up being far more useful than initially anticipated.It is then defended with a large number of defence platform stations and shiyards, which take materials form the planet core to carry out their respective functions.
