Her Highness, Princess Aline Courbet
Aline Bolder was the wife of the Prince of Cobal, Dillard Bolder. Born the youngest daughter of King Serge II of Aria, Aline was wed to Dillard in 51 AF at the age of 16. She gave birth to a son, Dillson Bolder, in 52 AF. The following spring, Prince Dillard announced a tournament to celebrate the birth of his son. While competing in the joust at the tournament, Dillard was killed by a splintered lance that pierced his eye.
Aline stayed in Jemptal the rest of her life, first raising her son Dillson and then her grandchildren when Dillson died at an early age. She passed away at her summer home on the Caldar River in 95 AF at the age of 60 from a stroke.
