Lord Loras am Maxalli
Loras am Maxalli is the eldest son of Lothis am Maxalli and the ruling lord of vast estates in and around the City of Dorick in the Grand Barony of Wessridge. He is a close cousin of the current Grand Baron of Wessridge, Maklin am Maxalli and a grandson of Maklir am Maxalli.
Loras made himself a heroic name while leading a Regiment of Lancers in the Second Northern War. After the defeat of Imessian forces at the Battle of Nyallshold, Loras was charged by his cousin, Maklin, to muster a fresh regiment of horse and take them to Colo. Near the end of July, 214 AF, Loras took more than 500 Lancers north and over the course of the rest of the campaigning season, won three small battles with comparable Colian forces near the Imessian border with the Dalbrok Clan. These battles were basically insignificant, but in the absense of almost any other victories, tales of these successful battle were told and retold all across the Kingdoms.
