Ronan Dalnyall
Rison, Lord Ronan Dalnyall
Ronan Dalnyall was the Rison Dalnyall, or heir to the Clan title of Ryuri from his father, Caiden Dalnyall. He was a popular and much-loved member of the Dalnyall Clan nobility and was particuarly loved by the Boyne Guard of Nyallshall for his skill with arms and martial prowess.
Ronan died during a fight with a troop of Mountain Giants that were rampaging through the countryside of the Clan Bencraig in the late winter of 177 AF. While trying to rescue his father from the clutches of the largest of the monsters, he was brought down by the body of his father's horse that the Giant threw at him. While he was lying on the ground injured by the impact, two other Giants beat him to death. His corpse was so thoroughly battered that most of it had to be left at the scene rather than taken back for burial.
Ronan had no wife or children, and his younger brother, Nolan, took the title of Ryuri after his and his father's death. His name and deeds are remembered all across the land and by all Clans everywhere for his daring, honor and bravery. Songs are sung nightly about him, and cups are raised in his memory.
