Eastern Altair Foothills
To the far north of the Eastern Province Province, the Altair Foothills mark the transition between the plains and the towering Altair Mountains. This region is cooler and features mixed forests. The area is sparsely populated but is known for its lumber and mining industry.
The spiritual capital, and only major settlement in the area is Caldara, the old capital of the Haldur people, who now call themselves the Marali.
