Oram Coast

The Oram Coast is a region located in the Eastern Province, which is situated at the far eastern fringes of the Namorian Republic. The Oram Coast is renowned for its dramatic coastline, rich maritime history, and the vibrant culture of its inhabitants, the Thalmorians. The Oram Coast is bordered by the Great Ocean to the east, the Middle Sea to the south, the historical region of the Lanath Plains to the west, and a largely uncharted and inhospitable area to the north characterized by undersea dangers, ice, and tundra.   The Great Ocean is the largest and deepest body of water in the known world, and its vastness remains largely unexplored. The Oram Coast forms an extensive eastern shoreline along the Great Ocean. The coastal waters are rich in marine life, and the area has a long tradition of seafaring and trade. The Middle Sea is a calmer and warmer body of water compared to the Great Ocean. The Oram Coast’s southern border along the Middle Sea is characterized by numerous bays, inlets, and natural harbors, facilitating trade and cultural exchange with other regions.   To the west, the Oram Coast is bordered by the ancient region of Lanathal. The boundary is mostly composed of dense forests and rolling hills, with a few ancient trade routes winding through. Historically, the Oram Coast and Lanathal maintained a peaceful coexistence, though the rugged terrain made travel and communication challenging.

Fauna & Flora

The Oram Coast boasts diverse ecosystems ranging from dense forests in the west, rich marine life in the coastal waters, and unique subarctic species in the north. The region is known for the vibrant Sea Orchid and the rare Oramian Tusked Seal.
